FIGHT INFLATION AND LOWER THE COST OF LIVING 

It's time politicians start making the same sacrifices that we are forced to make every day. Kevin Whiteford believes that inflation today has been caused by poor government decisions of overreach and overspending. He gets it. That's why Kevin supports keeping government spending in check and keeping taxes low so that you can keep more of your hard-earned money. Currently, Michigan legislators and the governor refuse to honor a bill written years ago to reduce your income taxes, but instead decided to increase spending. Kevin will always fight to help you keep your hard-earned money!

EMPOWER PARENTS 

Parents today are frustrated that their voice and input on what is best for their children has been eliminated. Let's give moms and dads a greater voice in the decisions being made not only in education, but in the everyday lives of their children as well.

KEEP TAXES LOW

When politicians overspend, too often their solution is to raise taxes. In these tough times, we must stop out-of-control spending and keep taxes low for workers, job creators and taxpayers. Hard-working people deserve to keep more of what they earn so they can provide for their family today and in the future.

SECURE ELECTIONS

We need to strengthen the integrity of our elections to ensure a more secure process that gives all of us confidence in the results.

      •    Provide personal IDs for legal citizens who don't have one

      •    Require an ID to vote

      •    Remove dead voters from voter rolls

      •    Count every legal vote

POLICE & FIRE FUNDING TO ENSURE SAFE COMMUNITIES

Law enforcement place their lives on the line everyday to protect and serve our communities. We should be doing everything we can to ensure their safety as well as prioritize the funding that is needed to properly protect our communities.

PROTECT FREEDOM 

Too many politicians want to dismantle the Constitution and erode our rights. Freedom is worth fighting for and as your state representative, Kevin will take an oath to defend our shared values and civil rights.

FIX ROADS WITHOUT RAISING TAXES

Michigan is already funding road repairs at record high levels. We can fix the roads by prioritizing the money already in the state government budget without raising gas taxes or income taxes.
